TOME turns the classic sawbuck into a clean, architectural firewood holder. Two identical X-shaped frames stand at the front and back, and their upper arms open into a wide V that cradles the logs. Split wood lies across both frames, so the stack stays tidy, airy and fully visible, and you can take a log from either side without reaching into a box. The low crossing point keeps the rack steady, while the long arms give it a strong, sculptural silhouette. It suits a fireplace or stove corner, an entrance hall or a covered terrace.
Each X frame is made of 60 × 40 mm rectangular steel tube. The crossing is welded and ground smooth, and every tube end is closed with a welded steel cap, so there are no open edges. A cross tube links the two frames at the centre, fixed with countersunk bolts that sit flush with the surface. The fine-texture matt powder coating is durable and comes in six colours: Black (RAL 9005), White (RAL 9010), Dark grey (RAL 7016), Light grey (RAL 7035), Gold (RAL 1036, smooth pearl finish) and antique Bronze.
TOME is designed and made by FERLIGS, a metal workshop in Riga, Latvia, building steel furniture and fittings since 2017. Our firewood racks are named after places in Latvia: Edole, Ugale, Piltene, Smiltene, Jugla, Kleisti, Rumbula, Pokainu, Suntazi, Dunika and now Tome, a quiet parish on the left bank of the Daugava. The rack measures 100 × 25 × 60 cm (W × D × H); logs of 25 cm and longer rest securely across both frames. Firewood not included.
