Ugale is a firewood rack made from one piece of 3 mm steel, bent into a clean U-shape with softly rounded corners. There are no welds, screws or loose parts – just a flat bottom and two side panels that flare slightly outward, each with a cut-out handle. The result is a strong, stable holder with a calm, minimalist look that suits a modern living room, a Scandinavian interior or a country house, and never looks out of place next to the fire.
The rack holds a generous stack of split logs about 30 cm long – enough for a cosy evening by the fireplace, wood stove or sauna. The handles let you fill it right at the woodpile and carry it straight to the fire, without dropping bark and wood chips along the way. The flat steel base stands firmly on wooden floors, tiles or stone, and the open front and back make it easy to stack logs and take them out. Ugale works indoors as well as outdoors on a covered terrace or porch, keeping firewood tidy, dry and always within reach.
Every rack is finished with a durable powder coating in a fine-texture matt finish that resists everyday knocks and scratches (gold has a smooth matt pearl finish). Choose from six colours – black, white, dark grey, light grey, gold and antique bronze – to match your fireplace, furniture or interior style. Ugale is designed and made by FERLIGS in Riga, Latvia, from solid black steel, with attention to every bend and edge. Firewood is not included.
